The mission

Sea Farms, a Virginia seafood business in operation since 1987 came to me in need of some help. After some changes with their leadership, they decided to bring their brand into the 21st century with a fresh brand identity (which they never had before) and a simple, informational website (again, something they never had before).

The result

My goal was to keep it simple. I used masculine font(s) and a simple oyster illustration worked into the wordmark logo so folks would immediately know what they’re all about. This combined with a deep sea-inspired navy main color, a neutral “sand”, and ultra-light grey secondary colors created a timeless ocean inspired logo that clearly communicates who they are.

Their new website, based on the logo, is user & mobile-friendly and features a convenient mobile bottom nav menu, parallax scrolling features, HD images, and an understated palette to match their new brand standards – along with all of their pertinent business info.
